What is Project Konpeito?

  Project Konpeito is a passion project created by Remmy_The_Clown. It has been worked on since 2025. The project is based on the japanese candy konpeito (pronounced kohn-pay-toh). The candy comes in a wide variety of flavors, which inspired the project’s goal to make voicebanks with a wide range of expressions.

Design Process

  When creating the designs for Konpeito's many flavors, I start with an emotion I'm trying to achieve. For example, Strawberry's concept came from the mild sweetness I was trying to emulate while recording. From there I came up with the idea to theme her voicebank around all things sweet. I look for insperation from a lot of things I like. Below are a few of my favorites
